Looking to build a wind Druid. Going to actual try to walk this character through the game. No rush..the pvm wind Druid guide is a bit dated is the gear for it still the same?

Also any recommendations on gear while walking through? What about skills for the long walk?

Elemental druid (Tornado + Hurricane) is a quick runner in normal tombs to help low level characters. In hell, he cannot kill Ancients because his defence is too low.

Wind druids are mediocre in PvM, they are lackluster in more than 1 player games because your tornado's don't scale up much, if you do enough damage to kill a monster in 3-4 nado hits in player 1 its manageable but slow, but when you're in an 8 player chaos game and trying to kill venom lords where even a trashy white mob takes on average ~25-30 hits, its simply not enough damage.
its very important to get a reaper's toll act 2 mercenary since decrep will often double your damage output.

Lmao wut? This guy still thinks ele chars can't Uber.

Windy dudus do fine. Even shamans can do hell ancients. You can't keep up in full games, but solo it's alright.

Guides are still good

Need a reaper merc for Decrep since nado is physical.

Hit the fcr bp for safe tele

Get a grizz for a tank.

Elemental druids can probably Ubers but he will do nothing and he will always die.

First of all, this video shows the patch 2.01 (there are probably many things unlike the current version of d2 in 2017).

Second, that was like three characters inside one (full resists, full leveled bo, chanted), the two others left the game to remove the difficulty for a better boost.

At last, in the current version 1.14d (even 1.13), a fighter designed for Uber Tristram is normally supposed to use life tap through a pair of unique vampirebone called Drakul grasp OR the runeword Last Wish.

Not mine. But I've come across plenty of windy drus on realm that do CBaals just fine. And BO'd or not, he did just fine killing everything in his path.

Lifetap would do nothing for a windy dru, whereas decrep helps, and not all UT chars use it. Team Merc used a kicksin with a Lacerator for Amp and stacked up life leech.

Agguh@jsp did all ubers with a Tal sorc using Meteor for all mini ubers and meph, and then used a token to respec lightning for Diablo and Baal.

But, only a physical character can SOLO Uber Tristram.



Sorceress always needs expensive equipments only to finish hell mode. Tal Rasha on a sorceress has no bonus to skills, and then not enough life when she does her battle orders.




Then, the restart to a new build doesn't count as a real run because when you fix your build, you're supposed to keep it. Otherwise, if you really need to change your build only for an immune, your character is failed because those tokens are supposed to be limited.

Full Tal. Stormshield. Max block. Marrowalks. No battle orders. Totally solo.

Tokens aren't limited at all. Respec is because Diablo is fire immune, though breakable. Izzy and Duriel are CI, otherwise Blizz would work.
