Hey guys i went to sleep last night with "unable to connect to battle.net" and woke up with it still doing it.

Not sure how i will go about fixing this but it is very ridiculous.


I cannot reset my ip address as i host stuff off of it.

I tried a vpn but idk if it was a good vpn or not, it said on one my cd key was banned and disconnected on the other. (switched vpn servers)


Any ideas?

If you're unable to change your ip, you must wait it out. Usually lasts 12-24 hours for first offense or longer for additional offenses. Be glad you don't have 'server down', those last 7 days ++.

some of these ip bans last weeks

if your not able to reset your ip. you are going to have to wait it out.

been using dsl (non assigned ip) forever myself got a r/d yesterday. took a second to bypass.

no, even if there was, discussion of such content would not be invited to be had here on this site.

suggest you become familiar with our rules in your downtime from being temp banned.

If you have cable internet you can release renew wan ip on router and see if you can grab another public ip .. or you can bypass router and direct connect computer to modem and get another public since your router will hold lease and cmts will beforced to hand another ip ..

it's tied to your CD-keys & HWID (physical MAC address) as well so that's a no-go.

You get to stay off the game for about a month, if not more. No single player, either; launching the game even to the splash screen renews the ban.
