Need Help Building Desktop - Topic

Thanks for taking the time to look at this request!

First of all, I have a friend who is looking to buy a desktop in order to play a few lower-requirement games such as:

World of Warcraft
Starcraft
League of Legends
SW:TOR
Elder Scrolls Online
Etc

Basically he has a $300 limit for a rig at one time. I have already explained on multiple occasions that he is going to have to pay for it, if he wants something good.

My question is: Can you build a rig that can be upgraded (i.e. 1 month the primary setup, next month a new video card, so on and so forth) for a budget this small?

No monitor or hardware needed.

300$ you gotta find something used for him or save up some more.

For 525$ he can get a pretty lowend PC without an SSD.

MMOs are not low-requirement games. WoW can be played on a lower req PC until you get to Legion.

Liar, I have 2 fps and i own in WoW -- not joking, literally 2 fps on lowest graphics

all of my computer parts are starting to show up
