Only a very small percentage of the population had access to these items. Those of us remaining 16 years later quoting "HISTORY! HISTORY!" are people who want to preserve their previous investments or protect their inherent advantage over others who did not have the opportunity to horde said items. At least, that's how I see it.
What about occy ring or constricting ring? Where are those?
Most of them used to cost less than 500 fg. Nothing like the cost of windforce. The prices didn't get absurd until people started thinking of them as investments.
People sold them like candy on e3ay
