Hi,

First off. I realize this is probably the 100th topic on this, but I've been going back pages and haven't found anything.

I've always been off and on with the idea of getting an acoustic guitar for years. But I always come back and want to play. I learned some basics years ago.
I finally now have the extra time, and realize I would like to add another indoor hobby to my list.

Good entry to mid-level guitars?
I want good sound quality, as I feel like in the worst case, I could always resell it and take a few hundred dollars of a hit.

I've played on terrible sounding guitars and it honestly just made me not really want to play due to the quality of the guitar.

Mostly what ive been looking at is the Taylor 110. I like the idea of doing mostly strumming, and it seems like it sounds good with its brightness.
Was looking at Breedlove for a while as well.
I know a lot of people recommend Seagulls.

Thoughts? What guitars should I look for? I have no problem buying used, this would actually be my preference. I don't have a set budget, but I was thinking $400-600.
Will be searching Craigslist for the next few months hoping for a sweet deal to appear.

I have this and it's beautiful to play and sounds amazing. The difference between these and the high end models was so marginal when I was testing them. I could never justify spending anymore.

I bought a Blueridge BR-160 back when they were in that range (2004?), it is a CANNON! Seagull is great for the money, not real loud but the tone is pretty decent. My ex had a $100 mahogany pawn shop Hoener. I loved to play that thing.

This. They sound so bright. I compared it to 2k+ Martin and Taylors and it just sounded so beautiful. I know the 210 isn't necessarily "cheap", but it's better than the 110 and you will pretty much future proof yourself and not need another acoustic ever again (Imo)
