So I haven't played in two years I see people asking for pet n rainbow gobs? What are these n what torment are they wanting

No idea what torment they want, depends on the person i guess. But here is some info about the 2 gobs:

Note that the rainbow gob has a great level full of loot. Way more then the original rainbow level ever gave.

rainbow would matter, but not by much. sir williams is the money maker in a rainbow.

Rainbow Goblins spawn in all areas of the game, including Nephalem Rifts where they may be part of larger Goblin packs. Like all Goblins, they will not appear in Greater Rifts, though.
wiki is misleading, another source:
The only problem is that you are in a rift and portals to The Vault and Whimsydale don't spawn in rifts.
