So im lvl 70 crusader and most (so far all i have noticed) items that drop are lvl 70, wether its rare or legendary, if i try to upgrade rare flail to legendary i will get a legendary lvl 70 flail. but golden flense is lvl 31,
And the only 2h flail i can craft is also lvl 70. i have even tried to reforge a legendary 2h flail twice, but again both times i got another lvl 70 2h flail.

So my question is this: how the heck do i get the golden flense when everything that drops, craft etc is lvl 70 ?? Do i need to find recipes for lower level 2 handed flails? and if so where is the best place to farm those recipes?

because it's item-lvl maybe lower, but it'll be set to lvl 70 standards.
if that makes sense.

ilvl is useful is you are farming for something to cube (which will delete the item) you can power level to that specific level and kadala gem spam until you get your desired item.

what is "ilvl"? - okay so i just need to lvl a crusader to lvl 31 and then farm blood with my lvl 70 ? and then spend it on the lvl 31?

Level 31 is just when it starts dropping. Just use the rare upgrade recipe in the cube on a 2h flail and you'll get a level 70 version after a few tries.

but dont i need a lvl 70 rare to upgrade to legendary ? and is it really possible to get a lvl 70 version of the golden flense?

but how? do i reforge a legendary? or just keep upgrading random lvl 70 rare till i get it? - cus i cant upgrade below lvl 70 rare items, according to my cube.

This really isn't complicated. Why are you still asking about levels?

Upgrade rare 2h flail in cube to legendary. You need to use the level 70 ones. There isn't a good reason to have or use anything that isn't level 70 once you hit 70.
