Yeh but what will the actual REPLAYABLE endgame content be ?!?

Open world is horrible for that ...it's great for the start and will definitly bring me enjoyment some time and its nice to do something in it from time to time .... but nothing to do on the long run??

The HoT meta events were actually sort of bad
It is cool to have 1 or 2 meta events but the whole content of HoT was basically only that
Being forced to play at those specific meta event times and then always having to invest 30 minutes to 1 hour and not being able to always team up with your friends for it because you all have to get on the active (usually full) map...
At least HoT also brought Raids but that is just 1x per week so not too much time that is filled out with it

There needs to be good replayable content that you can jump right in like DUNGEONS

I kept playing after HoT ofc but what i actually played was the whole core game with HoT builds... and just a tiny fraction of actual HoT content which is not the way it should be i think
All the newFractal updates alone brought more better replayable content than all of HoT (not talking about the HoT features like specialisations but actual gameplay content)

I love the game and just new ELite specs alone would be great since it makes WvW, PvP and PvE interesting again--
But there needs to be more new replayable content than just Open World and a Story that you play once...

Played GW2 when it came out like no other, got up there, got bored.
Bought expansion, sits here on my desk UNOPENED lol..

U really cannot talk like u know Gw2 when u played it at release. There has been tons of changes and I cant be arsed to write them all down. Do some research if u want to shit on a game u haven't played in years.
WoW is copying Gw2 now

If this is directed at me, I played a year after release. Got x3 chars 70, finished dungeons, world events, PvP. Put it down until HoT expansion, played again for one month. Got bored. Sorry you guys can't accept that not everyone likes this game. Because people don't like this game must mean there is something wrong with us. Really intelligent.

He can talk like he knows GW2. I played at release as well. They did change a lot of things, you are not wrong about that. They made some of their poor game concepts more tolerable.

Unfortunately the fundamental failures of GW2 have not been addressed and cannot be addressed without redoing the core of the game. It won't happen.
