There is an objective universe, and matter is all that is objectively real. What shape the matter is currently in isn't important. We don't know that universe....we just don't have access to it but some people get peaks of it sometimes when studying the advanced sciences and using technology, but only abstractly and never in any concrete way.
You can kind of do that too with strong enough hallucinations; have a shamanic spirit quest. Be careful where you look though, the abyss also gazes back. Ego death can be a difficult experience.

No but the feelings/thoughts these symbols evoke, refer to, represent, mean, shape, create and destroy and even
are in some ways, are real. Feelings are energy or fine matter.
Without going too deeply philosophical, where you live is very real, it's just extremely chaotic. Which means it doesn't work right.
And the only reason it seems nice is because resisting the higher powers that are always ruining your lives really are inhumanely difficult to resist and really shouldn't exist. Because Adam and Eve died or whatever reason, thats where that topic would be headed.
