5x5 is great, make sure you break if your body is telling you to, dont injure yourself.

2800 calories and ur starting out at 160 doing a strength program. I call quick plateau af with no solid gains soon. U do realize u lose mass calories as is on a strength program right, and im pretty sure u work a 9-5 job in which u lose more calories through out the day

Keyword: NO SOLID GAINS, u will def get stronger within the first week or 2, then as u get slightly stronger the higher weight brackets gon make u quit once again, snort creatine and up ur calorie intake 2800 is a joke, my little homie who i train with is eating 3200 calories a day doing a strength and plyo program and he aint even 160 dawg. Even at 3200 calories a day hes averaging 1.5 lbs a week
