I had an issue on my win 7 computer and wouldn't allow me to reinstall.
I bought windows 10 home, installed, and it seemed all is well until it froze. I rebooted and it wouldn't go past the windows start up screen to let me log in.
I feel I've tried virtually everything....
Reinstalled 3 times, turned off fast start up, turned off all unnecessary start up programs, attempted to make a backup boot, had the computer attempt fixing its own startup, went through BIOS in safe mode and made the most basic computer I possibly could just to get it to start so I could update drivers/ scan everything/ etc.
Probably just going to end up going to a comp repair shop as Ive pretty much lost all hope at this point lol. 100 YouTube videos later I'm still stuck with a $900++ setup that's a paperweight.
Any suggestions/comments/questions?

Thank you for any/all help!

Did you "wipe" the C: drive between any of these re-installs? Not format, but "wipe".

It sounds like you may have a very low level infection, that may still exist even after a format.

Other possibilities...

1. BIOS infection (very rare but still possible)
2. Might be an antivirus program as well. Like a newer version that they haven't worked the bugs out of yet.
