"transgender" and other "genders" are simply mentally confused people with a disability and disconnect with reality. They've existed since the beginning of time.

i tend to think that those who were born trans and were like that as long as they can remember are legit (same with gays) but those who suddenly decided it somewhere along the line are either full of shit or confused

It's actually a hard topic; there definitely are "trans-trenders" that do it just for attention, but I do believe some people are born with some sort of biological fuckup similar to BIID that makes them feel "wrong". Some people will argue over whether to call that a disorder / mental illness or not (it seems pretty clear to me that it is), but until we have a better method of treatment, I think basic human decency necessitates being respectful as a default. We don't shame people for having leukemia or shit like that; I don't think this should be any different. Not saying we should change the definition of biological sex, or that I even believe "gender" is real, but something is obviously fucked up and I don't think it's right to attack people for things they can't control.
