The narrative didn't start with Trump talking about it, the media crafted it out of thin air by using 'unnamed sources' claiming Trump and his lawyers were talking about it, then after it had brewed for a few days of national headlines, Trump calls it B.S. and his lawyer denies they've talked about it. What you're witnessing is artificial media circus, manufacturing the headlines. Did Trump or his lawyers ever discuss it in private? Maybe, maybe not, but it wouldn't have been news even if they had, but given their strong denial its doubtful they ever did.

It's inevitable that such a move would bring out a legal challenge that will 100% end up before the Supreme Court, and in no reality can I imagine that the Supreme Court is going to sanction that sort of fuckery.
