Has been happening over the last 2-3 months, starting to happen more frequently. No new hardware, temps are ok, connections are ok. Kernel Error 41 listed in event viewer. Failing power supply right?

Checked 3.3, 5, 12, voltages and they seem to be in range providing consistent power.

what's your power supply?
what's ur build?
are you overclocked?
temps? has ur temp being spiking high time to time?
have u ran memory test?

PS - EVGA SuperNova 850w Gold G-2
Build - Asus Rog Maximus 7 hero mobo, i7 4790K devil's canyon cpu, water cooled cooler master nepton 280mm, EVGA 960 gpu, gskil ripjaws ram x2 8gb sticks, wd 1 tb blue, x2 samsung 850 evo SSDs
not over clocked
temps idle - CPU - 35ish, GPU - 35ish. No temp spikes, playing stressful games cpu stays below 45 and gpu below 75? havnt rly checked temps while playing games lately, but they're normally stable.
yes ran memory test in windows, passed/no errors

computer has shut off while browsing, playing a game, or even just idle at desktop

memtestx86 is the only valid memory testing software tbh.
can you check if theres any bsod's , download nirsofts blue screen viewer and check for any entries.
if there is please highlight each one in the upper box and post them here if none report back.

used memtest, memory is good

ran bsod viewer, no dumps were found. I've witnessed my comp shut off a hand full of times and never have seen blue screen either so I believe it.
