Lets name those 10 players, their wages and transfer fees.

Bullock Callum
Caballero Lazcano Wilfredo Daniel
Clichy Gael
Navas Jesus
O'Brien Billy Thomas
Plummer Ellis Kane
Sagna Bacary
Zabaleta Girod Pablo Javier

Those are the 8 released so far. Then Hart, nasri, bony, mangela, Kolarov and nolito for sale?

That's a lot of wages and a fair bit of transfer fees I'd imagine.

All of those combined will not net you 80m euro in fees even rofl
And half of those are B teamers, with shit salary I would imagine, so you're not really getting rid of THAT much in wages.

Nah. They make like £10-£15 quid a shirt. Doesn't even almost make a dent in a transfer fee/wages
I'm glad people are starting to wise up to this "transfers pay for themselves through shirt sales" bollocks.

Well, in case of neymar, psg brand would grow considerably, way more of the transfer fee, if you ask me.

Neymar was a prodigy in Brasil even as a teenager, while playing for santos.

Marketing wise, everything that this guy touches turns to gold.

Now the bad news : Stays put in barcelona.

pretty big chunk in wages, but nothing in transfer fees (frees and free agents)
nolito was another 100k if we're counting him. Kolarov is on his way out for a reported 5-6m. another 85k in wages.

Iheanacho - £25m (pending Leicester)
Bony - £17-20m (pending to Swansea/Marseille)
Kolarov - £6 (pending to Roma)
Hart £15 m- West Ham
Nolito £8m - Sevilla
Unal - €14m Villlareal
Mooy - £10m Huddersfield

No, that's not that much, I agree. But take that away from what we've spent and without sales that might happen later on in the season, it's not as bad.

Plus take the wages of the 6-7 players we've releases.

true, we had countless discussions about it years ago. iirc it was mostly fans of real madrid and barcelona who tried to "justify" absurd transfer fees and wages like that...
