Sup guys !

Just wondering if im the only one with this issue. Since D2 was patched to work on the recent mac OS versions, I've had this problem. It takes from 3 to 20 tries to successfully launch the game. When I try to open it, a blizzard error window opens and says that the app has encountered an unexpected error. Does this happens to any of you guys ? If so is there a fix ?

Thanks a lot !

First off:

Secondly i'm not sure how D2 runs on macs nowadays i used to run it in wine for the first couple of weeks not optimal aswell.

But i made a Bootcamp partition and ran a windows OS on my macbook to play games on you should do this aswell.
you could do this to run the windows version of the game much better.

also blizzard allows you to make free support tickets on this issue!
if you make a ticket explaining the problems you are having while starting the game and they can fix it for you.
it could be implemented to help even more people.

I hope i helped you a bit by this.
and please don't game on your mac.

Fuck yea I game on mac. D2 works on mac since patch 1.14 where blizz change something to allow d2 to work on mac again (or mac changed something in recent OS can't remember)

But yea I also have bootcamp if I want to. The game run as smooth on mac or PC, its just I dont like having to reboot just to launch the game for a d2 trade or something.

I posted on blizzard forums as well, trying to find answers everywhere !

I run in wine & it works just fine after I changed the wine prefix settings, only problem I had was trying to launch it outside of window mode

Never used bootcamp though :/

Working fine for me, not sure why it doesn't work for you.
