This is all prepaid so you just pay to activate right

It's postpaid.

Find someone with a Comcast account, get them to make you an email.

Use that email login and password to login to every xfinity wifi you see.

It's free, pretty much everywhere because people don't know to disable that.

Can't say it's too secure so I wouldn't go checking your bank accounts or anything.

One of the Perks of buying and using your own modem is Comcast can't even use it if they wanted to.

They've changed it semi-recently I think, Used to be able to disable the public hotspot through the modems setup page... Now you have to call comcast to have it disabled....

They were charging 2 $10 fee's a month for people with the Modem/Router combo for awhile.

I remember calling & Bitching until they refunded the extra $10 a month (Was like 8 months worth)

My boss constantly has issues with the supplied modem (That and his roommate is a fucking idiot and 'tinkers' with it constantly)

Unfortunately.. He has phone through them too.. So He can't get his own modem, They dont have a standalone voice box :(

Yep, if you just have internet. You can buy dozens of different modems.

Pretty sure it's only comcasts and maybe one other modem that can handle their voice service. Rip

Speaking of which, we are launching our mobile phones next month. It is no contract, 45$ for unlimited (including hotspots). Only prerequisite is that you have xfinity internet.

Dope deal if you already have xfinity.

@ op Read the fine print, every carrier can prioritize once you use a set amount of mobile data. Comcast is 20GB. T-Mobile is 32GB

ATT and verizon are about 25GB each IIRC
