this is actually the exact "receiver" i have , and i really am not thinking it's possible to re-purpose this as a bluetooth dongle, hell i don't even think it uses generic bluetooth

So i'm noticing some Bluetooth dongles for 10-15$

and some for 3-5$

would it be that sketchy to buy a bluetooth dongle from some random company for the cheapest price possible?

i feel like the extra couple bucks here might save some connectivity issues

i'm pretty poor but an extra 5 dollars here might be worth it

Personally I wouldn't cut corners on a dongle.
I own a Asus one now after trying to use 3 cheap ones.

Yeaaa i'd feel pretty safe buying an Asus one

i'm tempted to just go buy a pair of headphones from 5 below until i really figure out what i want to do, but the back and forth between the cheapest pair of head phones possible and my jaybirds bugs me

i just wish my pc already had bluetooth

thank you for your input though, it certainly seems reasonable that there's some pretty shitty bluetooth dongles out there

It actually just dawned on me that there's a Microcenter about 3 miles away from my house, i think i'll just head over there tomorrow and not even deal with Amazon B)

I take back when i said about it running smoothly

It seems like i have to re-pair my headphones with my pc damn near every time i want to use them, and sometimes when i turn them on they sound like complete garbage, like the mic is turned on too for some reason?

tempted to just take this all back because this is becoming a hassle -_-

i've been fooling around with this for a few days now and this isn't a very smooth experience at all, it seems to work when it wants to and there's really no telling when the dongle decides to crash, or my phones decide to shut off.

tempted to just take it back and buy a corded pair, does anyone have any experience with this? i feel like these headphones just aren't cut out to be used on windows 10 -_-
