So the program is that big green letter U, looks as if the greek letter mu. meant to download such.

so, clearly the program should not be increasing memory usage over time. i heard its something to do with windows memory cache or something. how windows is not clearing the temporary data, but instead, is just building it up over time?

once i exit the program and then open it up again, then it starts at a low memory usage. task manager doesnt specifically show any program using us the memory, but its clear, because this program frees up 5gb of ram, the moment it is closed.

anyway to fix windows from creating this issue and high memory usage?

/e is this uTorrent having the issue?
use qBittorrent, it's infinitely better..

i havent used uTorrent since it was a viable way to host games on wc3: tft without having access to the router for port forwarding. Good times.

Run Process Explorer from Sysinternals. Should allow you to find what is eating memory.

Just anything besides that ad-ridden product that either does all the same things as any other or less.

Either of the suggested ones are great, you could try Transmission, too. Since you don't need capabilities such as creating your own tracker or a large plugin library just pick the one that looks the best.
