Will just end up with stratified health care with shitty services for poor people and good services for rich people.
We're better off now with universal health care (EMTALA) but not universal insurance, that way at least everybody is getting good health care, even if we are paying through direct taxation and inflated private health insurance for the uninsured.
Nah, the NHS is pretty good but the waiting lists can be long considering 70m people are entitled to it, so you can go to Bupa or Spire and get treated straight away. A lot of richer people will opt to go for private healthcare but that's their right, and most importantly it doesn't affect the quality of healthcare in the NHS - they're still paying for it regardless.
