45 vs 55 => repeal of Obamacare failed.

http://edition.cnn.com/2017/07/26/politics/health-care-bill-wednesday/index.html

The Senate rejected a proposal from Republican lawmakers to repeal Obamacare on Wednesday, marking a significant milestone in the Republican Party's years-long political crusade to gut former President Barack Obama's legacy health care law.
The vote was 45-55, with seven Republicans opposing the measure.

blabla... Meaning they will have hard time to invent a "replacement" bill before (aka copy and paste?).

trump reaction is a tweet, or some kind of weird fart:

"Senator @lisamurkowski of the Great State of Alaska really let the Republicans, and our country, down yesterday. Too bad!"

It always amazes me how you seem able to miss the forest for the trees.

The point is that the Senate rejected: full Obamacare repeal without replacement

The Senate did not reject: the repeal of Obamacare, but rather the: Obamacare repeal without replacement

Big difference.

yep this is what i said in initial post:

"Meaning they will have hard time to invent a "replacement" bill before (aka copy and paste?)."

I remember some poll done about it, a very large part of americans were expecting at least a replacement solution BEFORE a repeal.

Ok, I'll make it simple for you.

Obamacare is bad because the cost is forced on the people and companies that can least afford it. It's practically killing small businesses.

Oh i dont mind, i know usa have too high medical costs, lobbies, and states disparity, making it impossible (or nearly) to follow all the others developped (and even low-developped) countries in a simple universal care system.

On the other hand i cant wait to see what will replace O.care... Especially considering what the american pres-ident tried in first place: Removing O.Care but also the whole stuff created in 50's (medicare or medicaid; the one for old people).

Question: why small businesses have more issues that big ones in paying O.Care ? They are too small to get good contracts or something like that ?

oups
Sens. John McCain, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski voted no for the "skinny repeal" bill, resulting in its defeat.

Cant wait to see the next trump tweet fart about it.

McCain saying nope

i dont necessarily see a contradiction. mccain wants to replace obamacare with something better, he didnt want to pass what he considered a bad, risky and largely symbolic bill that wouldnt fix the underlying issue.
