Hearing news it's delayed again ?
Seems like only 2 or 3-4 guys stopped it

"Is Trumpcare finally dead?"

==> true or fake news ?

My question; Trumpcare is a flop or not ?

dead in its current form
repeal-only also looks to be a dead-end
i think they have to keep trying to find a workable solution, but i don't know how they can at this point
it's going to have to be a bipartisan effort with public involvement if it's going to get done, not this beneath the bedsheets with a flashlight at night shit they've been trying
they'll prob just try to sell it as being the dems fault and shift focus to something else though

Republicans were never going to come up with an actual replacement for Obamacare. I thought they might try to force through some butchered version that screws over several million people, but thankfully the party is still fractured enough to not be able to get anything done.

Now if only the Democrats can get a coherent message and stop being corporate whipping boys they might be able to get single payer.

Which would be terrible. The government shouldn't be in control of 1/5th of the US economy.

That's just like, your opinion man.

Also a poor characterization of single payer.

It is my opinion. I don't think single payer is the magical solution to US healthcare.

Care to enlighten me on why that is a poor characterization?

It's a poor characterization depending on what you mean by "control".

The government doesn't run the hospitals, they don't control research or pharmaceutical companies, etc. etc.

They negotiate payment and control costs.
