We're trying to.

You would hate us all the more, if we built you a gaming / editing computer for $1000.

/e Right now RAM is almost double the cost that it used to be, and the vid cards are $50-$150 overpriced due to mining. :/

If I had my druthers I would put 32GB of RAM in there....but I hate to see a grown man cry.

I should say that right now im running a 8320 with a sapphire r9 280 and for the light 3d work that I do, it's not too bad.
It works, could be better but I guess what i'm saying is I dont need an extreme build.

That 7700K build I made is NOT an extreme build. It only has 16GB of RAM, only a GTX 1070, only 1TB of storage...etc.

Yes, the 8320 will work...but compared to a 7700K the 8320 suxxors. The 7700K will do everything at least twice as fast.

/e As for the 280 compared to a 1070...it's just scary...

/e I would have picked a 1060, but for the gaming part...a 1070 is about the lowest I would go.

I would skip the water cooler and go with the perfectly fine stock cooler. 60$ above budget, i guess you could go with a worse GPU. Even tho I believe 1060 is already a lower end tier card for your needs.

Bad power supply. Get a G2 or G3.
