If you have a wide variety of runes, get a full set of armor runes, play garen, and at level 1, you shold have up to 100 armor, it's total bs.

Buy sunfire cape/ spirit visage or thorn mail second, finish boot at item 3, then get black cleaver.

Garen was the first character I really enjoyed when I started league. Maybe it's time to give him another go.

I feel like I enjoyed him when i first started too because he was so simple. Nothing to aim, just point click and lawnmower.

I find him boring now because he has nothing that requires smarts to make him interesting :\
