its older
parts are harder to come by

repairs would be costly unless youre doing the work yourself
you sure it would be reliable enough?
wouldnt want to put anyone in something unsafe.

I would do the repairs myself, at least most of them!

It has only been rolling for about 3500 miles ! Thats what most people roll within 2 years! The engine should be in very good condition :)

I guess it could be a good summer car

most likely, 39 years is quite some time!

But on the picture it doesn't show too much rust, but we got salty roads here :(

Didn't even think about the rust underneath the car, just thought about the easy rust spots...

Is it a great hazzle to change the plates? I guess I would have to remove a lot to change the plates and that can't be a funny job -_-

36k, usd?, What car was that and what did you do to it? :O

drove 36k miles in 8 months 08 smart 451

the underneath rust is whats worrying. if you attempt to jack it up becareful because the pinch weld might fold inwards and break causing the car to come down.

changing plates?
nor sure how that goes outside of america. should be a couple bolts or screws holding the license plate on

oh lol, not plates as in the numberplates :D I am talking about "sheet metal discs" (I lack some english words in my wordbook :) )

What you are describing sounds horrible by the way :O But imo you should be able to do it part by part
