So recently, my temps have gotten crazy high. I stream through OBS while running GW2 and never seen these high temps before. I'm running on a Corsair h100i and it's barely 2 years old.
I dusted out the radiator etc. too. Any suggestions on where to go from here? I even maxed out the performance on the pump/fans on the cooler.
They used to never go over 60C
Speaking of which my Idle temps are hovering around 60C as of this post. Also my GPU has been heating up quite abit as well, it's been around 75C while gaming without streaming. EVGA GTX 970 Superclocked

Hi Choxie.

Keep in mind that it is summer and room temps increase aswell.
Im getting higher temps n my pc aswell since my room is mostly 28-30 Degrees.

Its important that your pc has cold air to pull in if it doesnt then its gonna heat up.
How is the airflow in your case?
do you use water or air cooling?
if it is water coling is the water air cooled or idle.

Yeah I could be a bit paranoid, the ambient temp here in my room in Hawaii has gotten pretty high. I ordered a window fan to help me pull air outside into my room, hopefully that can help.
I use water cooling though, closed loop with the h100i. And I swear the mini tower mining rig I built recently, is sorta contributing to the warm air in my room lol.

Well yea problem in the summer is that air cooling systems espacially closed air cooled water coolers heat up.
Keep an eye out on the temps if it doesnt go higher than 80 your fine this stuff is made to get that hot i believe the limit is 90 degrees.

I hope i was able to help you with this.
if you have any further questions you can allways send me a PM

What?
No.
These temps are insane.
Something is wrong.
60c idle is absurd
safe operating temp for haswell is 73c
the sensors are not perfect either,
a reading of 80c could be higher in reality.

My temps never went anywhere NEAR that with a 4670k on air. highest idle i saw was ~40c

but the gpu temps look fine

The AIO seems partial defective. Could be a fan or the pump. check all the fans in the system if they run.

This. Pump rpm probably reported incorrectly
Aka, dead pump

How do I check if it's a dead/defective pump or not? Or should I just opt for an RMA? :(

i would rma, if the temps are high and you've checked that fans are spinning, it's most likely the pump.

only other check you can do is remount it, and attach all fans to the mobo and set to 100% in bios (unless it defaults to that).
if temps still rise, it's definitely the pump (or a bad mount again lol)
