I think the monitor i have isnt that great but I would have to check when i get home tomorrow.

Play around with ur settings imo, u shd be able to get 60+fps and maybe dip a bit.
Not worth spending that much on gpu upgrade when u have a poor monitor tbh, especially when ur hesitant to spend 400 on a gpu.

Conventional wisdom says do not buy cards that were used for mining, many people got burned by this after bitcoin tapered off and thought they were getting bargains but instead used cards that were overclocked and ran 24/7 at the thermal limit and on the verge of death.
