I'm just wondering guys, how do we compare eras. I mean, we want to win as much as possible in a five year period and the guys we draft are in their prime for five years.
Wilt in his prime scored 50 a game and grabbed like 27 boards as well. How do we translate that to today? Someone picked KAJ at 4. His best years, stat wise, were before Lakers, but he WON more with the Lakers.
So many questions before I make my selection.
I don't think there's a good answer to this. It's a judgment call by whoever is voting. I would imagine they would take into account guys like Russell who has 11 rings played in a league with 8 teams and zero parity for example.
Edit: no bad picks yet.
