It'd make sense to have a requirement that users have a certain number of posts(maybe 200-500?) before they are able to post in the Political and Religious Discussion forum. The same couple trolls who post threads with videos and no substance at all get their accounts warned to 20%, and then like clockwork make a new multi the same day to post more nonsense.

The political forum already has a restriction on warn level(20% and above can't post there), and this new requirement would make it even harder for trolls to clutter the forum with spam.

hell will freeze over before the staff here will give a damn about that section, let it rot (for good reason)

with that said, your suggestion is extremely unlikely

new users who are guests should be able to post on any forum they want when signing up. they created an account to voice their opinion, that's their right

what you want is better moderation in that section, which i agree.

but that leads us back to my first sentence, just let it go as Demi Lovato would say

The political forum almost never gets new users(under 500 posts) posting in it, besides the obvious multis who post the same no substance video threads over and over.

yes please
this would be a great change
i submitted two detailed multi-accusation reports just today
it's a pain the ass that could easily be avoided
we all know who these new accounts belong to anyways
just cut the eternal foreplay

nice logic

so you're going to ruin the experience of a potential great user joining and posting, just because of shitty moderation?

this is a moderation issue

That would only result in them spamming other sections until they can spam there.

I'm sure there's plenty of potentially great users who have a 20%+ warn level(occasionally some of our regulars get 20% and aren't posting), but it's understood that the low warn level requirement keeps a lot of spam and nonsense out of the forum. Users with 20%+ warn level who want to contribute to PaRD can do so when they get a lower warn level, and users with a low post count can do so when they get a higher post count.

If you see a user violating the rules use the report button on the post. Remember just because you do not see action does not mean none was taken, All reports are reviewed and dealt with accordingly

If you think someone is a multi please use the multi report tool here http://forums.d2jsp.org/tools.php?a=1
