Need a little math help.
-2×5^2 + 3×2^3
-3 (13)
Your numerator in this sum (that which is "on top" in a fraction) is: -2 * 5^2 + 3*2^3 = -2 * 25 + 3*8 = -50 + 24 = -26.
Your denominator in this sum (that which is at the bottom in a fraction) is: -3(13) = -3 * 13 = -39. So far, we've just rewritten the numerator and denominator to something that's easier to solve.
You may notice that both 26 and 39 are divisible by 13, so the result of -26 / -39 equals -(2*13) / -(3*13). We can remove the minus and the 13 in both the numerator and denominator to find that the answer is 2/3.
-2×25 + 3×8
-39
Note that 25 is equal to 5^2 and that 8 is equal to 2^3. This fraction can be rewritten to what we just started with in the previous assignment and the answer is thus equal to 2/3.
-50 + 24
-39
Note that -50 is equal to -2*25 (as well as -2*5^2). You can tell what we're about to do with the 24 B)
-26/-39
This looks a lot like our first sum as well!
