Meh just not the same as D2 hardcore which was pretty fair. There is too much potential for shitty RNG bullshit deaths that would just piss me off. Something like getting vortex pulled back into some molten exploding shit you were just running away from. Double packs with terrible mods all over the place and 1 shot mechanics all over the place. So you end up farming content 15 Grifs under what you could be playing at because its easy and no risk.
well vortex pull back that you mention has a pretty short range (about half screen), so after killing a few explody mobs you can teleport away pretty safely.
if you consider about D2's pvm difficulty, it's not at all that difficult (compared to grifting 95+ for LB placement), and the RNG in D2 is way worse in that many elite packs could be sitting right where you stand at a waypoint, forcing you to walk outside of town and "buff" if you need to.
