i see that this doesnt have a 6 pin thought it would since my current does but only the 2 fan ones do

what plug does it have? if any? it seems like none which makes me wonder if my old motherboard would possibly be lacking enough power to run it?
how does that work exactly?

i see a vid on youtube of a guy talking about these cards he said he put in a 10 year old 2 core and it worked so thats good news ^^

well.. some higher quality ones can better handle going over spec but the standard is 75w and has been for as long as i can remember
what do you think makes newer slots 'better'? if anything hardware as a whole has and will continue to become lower quality. one need only look at intel forever cutting corners with thinner skylake substrate that bends under tower coolers, dropping the copper slug in their stock heatsinks after haswell making them less conductive, and further cheaping out on the thermal solution between the die and ihs every gen.
