*** I tried to post in an older thread about this show, but jsp wouldnt let me due to it being older than 3 months.


Just started this show the other day... well I have binged it pretty hard, and almost half way through now. Figured 'eh' Ill watch 1 episode to see how it is because I couldnt find anything else to watch and I knew it had 8.7/10 on IMDb


HOLY mother of god this show is ABSOLUTELY phenomenal, if you have not seen it or given it a chance you 100% need to watch this show. I have always seen Orange is the New Black as a comparison for this show, that is not true at all. Only thing comparable to ORANGE is that its a womans prison. This show is more like Oz if I had to compare it. This makes Orange look like Sesame Street.

For me at least, at the 3-4 episode mark is when it really all clicked for me and I got completely sucked in

Ferguson makes the show for me and I was really entertained until the last season where it started to get redundant. I stopped watching a few episodes into this latest season, but everything else was pretty good.

You are aware that the Wentworth you are watching is a remake of the old Australian series that was in my opinion even better than this show. Anyway, good to see others enjoying it over the sad Orange is the new black.

Gonna check it out, couldn't get into OITNB and been looking for a show to binge watch.
