as much as I enjoy saber, it is getting kinda old when they're all like... oh it's saber she is so powerful, but in almost every series she doesn't ever feel like it all that much

She's usually like the 2nd or 3rd strongest it seems. Just the overly noble bullshit narrative gets so fucking old after awhile. Can't we follow around someone who's evil, or twisted, or someone who's got some good intentions but is willing to do fucked up shit (kiritsugu). Ugh... hopefully this is better than the last one, but I doubt it.

the character of saber is so symbolic of this serie that in a certain way i understand why they done this
but like you said id rather have something similar to fate zero (god damn that it was good)
