Just out of curiosity, have you tried a different keyboard?

Bump still driving me crazy it happens several times a day and often there's no connection between the keys i was pressing when it happens.
most recently it was the 1 key

For what it's worth, it sounds very similar to the Information Bar and User Account Control sounds from this video (1:33 and 0:57 respectively)

Sounds more like the former so I changed that sound to [none] in Sounds and hoping that makes the issue go away..

It's probably related directly to your keyboard. Check for new drivers or get a new keyboard.

I would think it's happening when you press too many keys at once

you'd think so but it's not that easy to replicate.
In any case it hasn't happened since i got rid of the Information Bar sound

I don't think its been properly suggested before, but it probably is your sticky keys.

HOLY shit i found out how to recreate it

hold down alt
then w
then s
u should be holding down these 3 keys now
it just starts beeping over and over every half-second or so
That's some bizarre shit right there if I do say so myself and yes I do

Looks to work the same if you do alt then s then w
w -> s -> alt also triggers it
s -> w -> alt
s -> alt -> w
etc
