brawl wasnt a port on wiiu/3ds
last smash was released on oct/nov 2014 they usually wait 6 years inbetween smash version
since the wii u was a flop n people really liked the last smash n also since its releasing this year so all hints go for a port
either way im really happy port or new games
since i skipped the wii u smash waas the only game i really missed on the wii u
The fuck are you talking about?
Time between each Smash release.
64 -> Melee = 2 years
Melee > Brawl = 7 years
Brawl -> Unnamed Switch Smash = 10+ years
Literally not a single one of the games has been released "6" years after it's predecessor, and only one of the fucking 3 times has it even been close to that lol.

"Usually"
There's only been 4 smash games, with 2 years between 64 and melee, then 7 between melee and brawl and finally 6 between brawl and smash 4.
Not really enough there to make accurate predictions, they've been relying a lot on ports for the switch so it might be a port, but 4 years between smash 4 and an actual new smash game isn't really a huge stretch either.
Whoops, didn't see your post. Your math is 4 years off on the last one though, it'd have to be 2014 right now for yours to make sense lol.
