Are there ways to make fg just by playing the game? I guess I don't uneed stand the game as a whole.

Nope, if you want to make forum gold, try D2 or PoE

If you wanna get into ls to make fg think again and try something else

They make their fg from other games, like D2, now since the reset happened, they just go there, get setup, some (only some) bot and then trade items for fg.
Others also play PoE where they can again start afresh at restart and trade off items for fg... all in all, they still play LS and just cruise on by getting GPs and
the occasional item may appear that can be sold off once in a blue moon.

the biggest profit from ladder slasher might come from smart trading. so you need an idea of what you are doing, some luck and alot of fg to trade. you dont find too much while playing.
like said before.. poe or d2 will give a better regular income.. still people have made a lot profit from ls.. but mostly at the end of their career

If you have a time machine and can go back quite a few years, then horde gear for a few years, then sell it all, you might become rich.

You could also play other games to fund LS.

Or you could play the MasterCard / Visa game.

On topic, no fg to be made on LS unless you have access to items found/created from around 10 years ago that won't be found/created in 2017.
