Not really.
I can complete my journey without it. Circlets and Crowns are good options as well.
I'm thinking only 1 extra, that upgrading rare items, but will see that i can do NM without it.

Good luck man. I've gambled about 10 million gold with my barb (he's Act 5 NM now) and have only gotten a decent circlet.

Hope your luck is better!
