it could be that blizzard distinguishes between creating games and joining games. I havn't tested this yet. So far i noticed that joining a game with more than 6 chars on the same ip triggers a game does not exist which will jail your ip/keys. Maybe it was a coincidence. Would be nice if anyone could test this too and reproduce this. Try it actually on the same ip , not through vpn or proxy

It's always been that way. You could always dodge it in the past by simply changing your IP. I remember when I could simply unplug my computer from the router and hardwire it into my modem and it would let me back onto bnet. lol

Now I'm just simply not willing to look for a VPN/proxy because people are actually getting perma-banned (8) from that shit. So basically I just have to wait it out.

You do not need to delete any of that shit, changing your IP address is what works because it's a ip restriction lmfao.

so it's been 31 hours and I'm still getting "Server Down" when I try to make games. I'm gonna keep trying to make games every hour or every 2 hours until it reaches 48 hours.

It seems like at this point the ban duration is random, and there's no way to know exactly how long you're banned for. I think it can be anywhere from 12-48 hours.

If I am still getting "Server Down" after 48 hours, I think it's safe to assume that repeated attempts to make games while banned does in fact increase your ban duration, in which case it truly is best to not try to log in again before at least 24 hours has passed.

Same Problem here. Cannot Make/join a game since 17:00. So i have to wait at least 48h before Making a game again?

Usually when facing this problem my isp provider has options within the router to logon one of their other isp locations thus changing my ip automatically and this has Always resolved server down/realm down.
i've never had to delete any of the logs or cache files.

Your best bet is to wait at least 24 hours and try again.

Been almost 72 hours for me.
