~ for extra verification, d2 will require the play/ expansion disk in drive, as in 1.11 and before~
~ game limited to 1 player in game max, (to prevent muling and leeching, u should hav to EARN ur exp like our forefathers once did)

got the patch notes for 1.17 from my main man jay wilson:

- removed trading
- removed pvp
- removed lobbies
- removed named games
- social interaction is now forbidden
- games limited to 4 players
- every player gets their own loot. can't even interact with others' drops
- you can now only have 6 active skills
- removed stat points, can't have build diversity
- removed 95% of the item mods, now only 4 exist: Main Stat, Vitality, Crit Damage and Crit Chance
- revamped sets. they now dictate how to play your character and the entire game is balanced around this.
example: set A now makes skill X do 10,000% damage. set B makes skill Y do 9500% damage.
