I'm trying to buy something off the marketplace for the 1st time.

When i mouse over the Gold pwd, my browser gives a warning that 'This connection is not secure. Logins entered here could be compromised.' Or something to that effect.

Makes me a bit wary. Is there any way around it, or am I just being paranoid?

It may be normal, in this context, but the browser is detecting something about the security of the information it is communicating. I won't pretend to know more than I do about cyber security, but I would avoid using a gold password that matches any other passwords you use.

The reason why it's saying that is because it's sending a signal to another website. So your browser is detecting it sending a signal outside the page you are on. But it's just sending to forums .d2jsp

So, normally yes It is something you should be concerned about. In this case we know the end recipient of the signal

haha i was myself when my opera / firefox updated and i was getting that "insecure" message
took me a few minutes to figure out whats up

P.S. on another note i can't get around the combat process. looking for a guide that says something like:
- press so and so key to target monster
- press this to activate your charm spell
- press this to flee from combat
I should probably put up a new post for this but thought i'd mention it.
