lightning fury is simply a normal javelin throw, like the 'throw' ability, but it ignores attack/defense, is a different projectile speed (I think) and the listed lightning damage is added to your physical damage. The physical damage on the javelin works with all weapon modifiers that would apply to a normally thrown javelin, like life leeching off its physical damage portion (but not the added lightning). Then every time it strikes a target or is destroyed by hitting an obstacle or expiring at max range, it releases bolts towards nearby enemies, max 1 per target, up to the max of the listed number of bolts. These secondary bolts deal the listed lightning damage also, and have 100% pierce and can hit multiple targets including the one from which they were released. And when the lightning fury explodes at max range, its bolts will normally be invisible, but otherwise are the same (important for dueling, since you can finish 1 hp people by hurling lightning furies that explode in an aoe without connecting, which can cover large aoes at long range)
