I'm not worried about overclocking it. Especially because I don't know what that is or what the purpose of it is.

You don't need a cooler with Ryzen. Their stock coolers are more than efficient enough. That should save you $30.

That motherboard sucks ass. Why spend $15+ more for a motherboard with ancient PCI slots when you could get a cheaper one that works just as well or better without PCI slots?

Cutting the cpu cooler and going to an ASRock mobo (with the most updated BIOS) lets you get a R5 1600.

I guess what I'd like to know is the difference between all these and what each number means?

"Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."

Generally, the more it costs, the faster it goes.

If only I knew what PCI slots were or what they were used for..? I'm very un-knowledgeable about tech..

Alright. So I he's saying why waste money when I planned on using the GPU (I assume GPU plugs into the PCI)? Also, is the memory slot (RAM) considered a PCI or no?

PCI = old slot for old video cards, sound cards

PCIe is the newer version of PCI. It is better and all modern video cards use PCIe. PCI is not needed.
