Aiding the Exile: Menaphos Event

Today sees a new event kick off within the Golden City: Aiding the Exile.

Speak to the shady lurker by the Menaphos front gates to get started collecting Menaphite coins, earned as you train combat or skills within Menaphos itself or the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon.

You’ll get +20% Menaphite coins from training Mining, Thieving, Fishing or Woodcutting. Please note, however, that you won’t be able to earn currency from Daily Challenges, as these can’t be handed in within the city.

Earn up to 1000 per day and unlock some sweet rewards, including magic carpet rest and teleport animations.

If you need to catch up, or just fancy speeding things up, you can increase your daily cap with Runecoins at the Rewards Store.

Was trying to wait to get into Menaphos until I got all the pre-Menaphos quests complete. Looks like I am forced to go to Menaphos. le sigh

they just removed 50+ hours to comp cape so bs :P (aka i did it )

maa unlock thieving pet got 100+ them new keys and rest of black ibis so not all worthless grind :P

are u keeping keys? got 9 in 1 task last night sold all 1.2m ea. idk how they gonna balance boss drop to be worth killing if its a 2 minute fight and keys are 1m+

keeping i have few of the t82 weapons might need to upgrade for t92 so hoping i get lucky :P

Oh bummer. Works out for me, I guess, since I've yet to step foot in Menaphos.

Sidebar: if you guys are like me and haven't done the quest for Menaphos, but want the Menaphite coins, you can do the t90 wisps and you can get coins that way.

Not sure if Plunder would work, but it'd be cool if that's the case. I had the buff icon for the 5% exp when doing a clue in Sophanem.
