Oh bo is my guy, dudes hilarious

I have watched some of the videos you posted and he is far from genius. He is following the basic mechanical way of joke writing in almost all of what I have seen. An algorithm could have written his stuff. Calling his punchlines is so easy it is that formulaic.

Not saying it is a bad thing, most comedians use the same tricks, albeit a bit more cleverly but still, it works and has worked for a long time and will work forever probably. Jist saying that it is far from genius.

What I meant is that his ability is definitely ahead of his age

It's pretty impressive if you ask me. He's got plenty of meh songs, but a lot of them are beyond witty and can get me to chuckle frequently. I can't think of any other comedian who's used song that's ever gotten me to laugh like Bo does.

Bo Burnham is on the same level as Dane Cook in terms of talent... not much to be had.

He's no genius or anything, but Dane Cook is bottom of the fucking barrel.

It's obviously just one Djman's opinion, but BB = DC in my book.

There are countless comedians out there who are better than him. Doesn't matter your taste in humor either.

Bo is middle of the pack for me. There are only 10-15 comedians I consider above and beyond the rest. Most comedians fall into the Bo category with slight variants, I put Bo up a little higher since I think accomplishing what he did at his age is impressive, and also, because like I said, no other comedian has used music in their performance to make me laugh. 999/1000 times when a comedian pulls out an instrument, I know for certain I'll be turning it off within the next 5 minutes. So, Slight edge.

He's certainly no Louie, Murphy, Williams, Carlin, or any of the other truly above and beyond comedians. That being said, Dane Cook for me falls into the absolute lowest level of comedian possible, the Carlos Mencia, Gabriel Iglesias, Jeff Dunham, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman and Larry the Cable Guy level of absolute shit humor that I feel can only be relatable/enjoyable to people with learning disabilities.
