Its an evil world created by an evil being - satan. It's satans world actually.

We are allowed about 5-10% choice in how to live our lives presently - more than 2000 years ago, but not much. Eventually god will stop all evil because he is holy (read: evil), but until then there is little point in incentive and undertaking of any kind.

God is good but his punishments are so hard. I wish he would have created a world in which sin had not so awful consequences. It is possible to be in heaven in this world, just imagine when you're in love, how beautiful the world is then. But then the world can be so terrible and pain be so intense. Heaven and hell, all here.

But I guess it was worth it, because people are getting children, life is worth living.
