Even if at the end we find out that he survived the attack, the fact that over 300 members of ISIS were taken down (including mid-high ranking members) is a huge blow for the organization.

Yeah, but with that strike we probably created 600 more terrorists. If you kill your enemy, they win.

Trump will take credit.

As he patially should. Obama was veribly too chickenshit to appoint someone like Mattis. Obama made marines wear high heel shoes. Mattis is demonizing ISIS to the point of extreme demoralization by comparison.

Apparently a russian air strike on 28/5 targeted an ISIS meeting in Raqqa which left 330 dead, including 30 officials and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the self-proclaimed caliphate.

Unlike in previous occasions where there have been rumours about Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi being killed without any government backing the claims, this time the russians admitted that it's very possible as they've confirmed he was at the meeting during the bombing, and they are currently in the process of verifying that he's indeed dead.

I guess that could be a huge blow to ISIS in the region. Unfortunately I doubt the death of the leader will stop lone wolves from orchestrating attacks, but at least it would weaken the structure of the terrorist organization.

ISIS BTFO

AMERICA F*** YEA

Edit: hoping its true

The thing is killing leadership doesn't actually do much. The people who get things done in organizations are the mid level managers. You can kill as many CEO as you want, unless you take down the "deep state" it won't do any good.

Well at least someone is doing something to combat Isis...

If Baghdadi was there do you think the 300 killed were just some low level plebs? Kind of doubt it, & even if they were low level, 300 fighters evaporated in a days work is purdy good if you ask me.
