So I recently gave my life to Christ while going through an exicentual crisis and boy am I struggling.

My main concerns are
how the bloody heck do I live the christian way / life
how do I believe in my heart that christ Is my boy and he is real
how to know when god/spirit is talking to me or its just my thoughts

These are my struggles and I dont know if anyone has similar issues but I feel if i can overcome these then my only enemy is myself.

first thing is you need to truly understand what are the commandments that God set down for us, research this
then start you new life trying to follow/obey them.

If you have done the sinners/repent prayer and you truly believe in Jesus and have received the Holy Spirit, then you should feel much lighter (as if a great weight had been lifted off your shoulders) and your daily stress and worries are gone (this is what happened for me one year ago)

you have to genuinely want to stop sinning, and for me, that meant deleting all my porn and my browser history and uninstalling my video games (addiction is sin, including addiction to video games)
I just have 2 text based games left, that I play and try to moderate the amount of time spent playing them.
Satan is ALWAYS tempting you, and if you spend hours and hours playing games and not using that time to read & understand the bible and the scriptures, then Satan is winning.

You need to build a relationship with Jesus, and that takes time. And Jesus will test you many times. Try to remember that when you ask Jesus questions during prayer, he won't answer them in your time, he will answer them in HIS time, and this requires patience.
It is very important to forgive all those who wronged you in your life, you must remove the burden you carry around regarding the forgiveness of others.
Forgive all including school/work bullies, people who cheated/stole from you, old friends who stabbed you in the back, even a stranger who may have sold you a faulty car/motorbike etc. This link may help you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zyjsFJhUBw

Try watching/listening to some sermons, to gain more knowledge about Jesus and his ways. I recommend Derek Prince and Robert Breaker on YT

Ravi Zacharias & Hank Hanegraaff both have great content on what it means to be Christian and how to be a Christian I recommend looking them up and seeing what they have to say. They also have a lot of radio broadcasting/books/articles etc... chalk full of knowledge about what you are asking. Everyone's walk to reach salvation is different and can happen in any number of ways. I would suggest reading what they have to say then referencing a student Bible to better understand the Gospel and what it says about subjects you're conflicted with. All in all don't shy away from this walk because it seems so difficult but look at it as an opportunity to commit yourself to something grander than any other calling on Earth. To be short and sweet about some of your questions and how I approach them is this:

how the bloody heck do I live the christian way / life - Being a genuinely good person is always a good start, always show love and forgiveness no matter what the situation but also stand strong in your beliefs, don't let people belittle you or what you care about. Actively pursue your connection the Lord, get in the Bible and read to truly understand, mind you it isn't a race to read the whole thing, take a few chapters at a time and really try to understand everything those chapters are saying and how you can apply that to your life. Doing this with a Bible study group at a local Church is a great idea. Lastly and most importantly consciously giving your life over to Christ and believing God sacrificed Jesus for our sins and everything he did was real then accepting the fact you can NEVER be as good as Jesus even though we are called to strive to walk his path it is an impossible feat but by taking on that challenge and trying to live how you are called to and believing in him and what he did that's all that is asked of us; God does not expect us to be perfect like Jesus he simply asks us to believe and try.

how do I believe in my heart that christ Is my boy and he is real - This is something that can be different for most people but if you were to get down to the facts and putting faith as well as spirituality aside the Bible is the most historically proven book of religion in the ENTIRE world. There are THOUSANDS of documents recording Jesus's life and what he did, where he was, when he was there, why he was there, etc... not just by his Disciple's. Not only is he the most well documented religious figure out of all the religions every large name in history and modern day that has actively tried to debunk Jesus's resurrection and other acts of divine power have not been disproved to this day. That's actually how most intellectuals who are skeptical turn to be a Christian because of the overwhelming amount of proof out there. Then what might be even more important is the fact of spirituality and faith, those are things you must discover for yourself though and a somewhat different conversation.

how to know when god/spirit is talking to me or its just my thoughts - I also wondered this for a long time and don't have a great answer for it but I can tell you this. Ever since I committed my life to Jesus and being a Christian my though process and decision making has changed. No longer am I as angry, hateful, spiteful, envious, or simply evil. By learning what the Bible has to teach and being around fellow Christians in my Church there is a renewed vigor in me, no longer do I feel the need to do anything wicked or be mad and my life is SO much better because of it. So I guess the best way to describe it is having this feeling of spiritual growth inside you and always siding with the right thing to do rather than wrong, going out of your way to help and love others, that's the Holy Spirit moving within you giving you the power to be the person the world needs and is asked for by Jesus every time you reach out to him through prayer or by working for him or towards him you will feel this way. That feeling is God's love for your actions and him standing up at the baseball game after you hit a great hit for your team driving in the scoring run and him yelling, "That's my boy!". It's an immeasurable feeling and one you will definitely know is there when it hits you.

I hope this helps, PM me if you want to talk more or have more questions I would love to discuss them with you.
