vs

Crucial MX300 275GB 2.5 inch SSD, 7mm & 9.5mm adaptor $144 nzd

vs

Kingston SSDNow UV400 240GB 2.5" SATA3 7mm Internal Solid State Drive $134nzd

Depends what you value more for 10 extra.
Storage or performance.
I would personally pick more perf since it's only 10 difference, regardless u can't really tell the difference irl.

If you compare the issues people had with samsungs ssd, with all the other 'titans' ssd's, then i think the trend is that Samsung is king of the hill, when it comes to the production of ssd's :)

the one with the longest warranty and/or best rma process, seriously.

used a lot of different ssd's and the performance delta amounts to nothing because i am not a data center. Everything feels extremely fast regardless.

Even tbw doesnt matter much to me, i write maybe 200-300gb per month (while using a separate hdd for firefox cache/profiles because the the amount of writes it does due to how i use my browser is just ridiculous, if i didn't do this i'd be writing 800gb-1tb per month)

Try to avoid new releases, they'll likely have nand and controllers that are made on less refined aka and more cutting edge processes. Hardly an issue since all the best buys have been the best buys for years now because everytime something new comes out firmware/process immaturity causes it to get slammed by tech press relative to older more optimized products, like with the mx300 vs the mx200
