A very fun way to get started with programming in general is a game named "Hacked" in the app store.

Otherwise there are various good courses with the SoloLearn app on different languages. That app also has integrated compilers for some playing around. It's way of teaching is also game-like.

After that I would get a little bit more into detail with the language you like.

The site http://codingame.com is pretty cool.

It lets you program in any language. Like these guys say, Python is a good first language.

You program part of the logic in different games. It's pretty rewarding to see the results with very little effort.

I completed a couple that were pretty simple, but I'm sure they get more in depth.

MIT App Inventor is a really "simple" way to learn the basics of programming, we use it to teach middle schoolers. I wouldn't waste my time on it though, as other people said I would start with any of the 2000 python courses free online.
